Jim Crimmins

Founder and President

Jim Crimmins is the founder and President of Traders Accounting, a firm dedicated to those engaged in day trading business. Jim, a day trading accounting expert, has become the voice of 'tax efficient trading' for the fast growing market of day traders. He delivers webinars and participates in several chat rooms each month as well as creating classes, lectures, and home study courses for small business entrepreneurs.

Jim earned his stripes in corporate America as an executive with several NYSE companies, both as a controller, operations manager, and ultimately COO. After leaving corporate America he taught business principles at a Seattle college. He then decided to practice what he preached and has started and managed four different successful companies in both Seattle and Phoenix. Additionally he, along with his wife, own and manage rental real estate in the Phoenix market place.

Jim has worked with one of the largest and well-known educational organizations of the stock market in this country where he developed a network of experts in the trading arena. He left the company to fill what he saw as a gap in traders accounting services for the vast number of traders in the market.

Today's technology has dramatically changed the way day traders do business. The Internet provides traders with resources from anywhere in the country all from the comfort of the traders home or office. Traders Accounting specializes in the business of trading and provides the services traders need to succeed including consulting, accounting, tax preparation, self directed 401(k), and webinar education.

He resides, with his wife in Phoenix, AZ near their six grandchildren.

Gary Hood

General Manager

Gary Hood is the General Manager for Traders Accounting. His background is in Accounting, Management Information Systems, and Human Resources. He has served in management positions in those fields as well as project management in Administration Processing, Data Processing, and Manufacturing processing.

Gary graduated Purdue University with a BS in Economics, with honors, and Psychology. He then completed his MBA in Accounting and Management Information Systems at Indiana University. He is certified in Data Processing by the Institute for Certification of Computer Professionals (ICCP) and certified in Production & Inventory Management as a Fellow by the American Production and Inventory Control Society.

Gary has lectured at industry seminars on Controlling Data Processing, Self-Managed Work Teams, and taught various college courses. With his work experience, Gary brings expertise in managing Area Processing Centers covering Accounting, Auditing, Order processing, Order Fulfillment, Maintenance contracts, Credit & Collections, personnel related functions, Telecommunications, Office Automation, and Customer support functions. He has also owned and managed a Text & Graphics business and Consumer Delivery stores. He seeks to apply his skills to ensure all Traders Accounting clients receive timely and accurate administrative support. He seeks to make Traders Accounting motto of 'You Trade and We'll do the Rest' more than just a friendly saying.

Sara Reed

Bookkeeping Manager

Sara Reed joined Traders Accounting in 2004 and now is manager of the bookkeeping department. Sara brings over 12 years of accounting and bookkeeping experience to the Traders Accounting. She has streamlined the bookkeeping process for Traders Accounting clients, overseeing their monthly fiscal reporting, and preparing their financial statements for seamless tax preparation.

Since coming to Traders Accounting Sara has obtained her credential with the American Institute of Professional Bookkeepers and holds certificates in Investing, Business Management, and Accounting. In 2006 she received her certificate for completing the QuickBooks Pro Certification Program. Sara takes pride in that even the most complex trading structure can be handled with ease by the bookkeeping department.
